RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa P. MacDonald was celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 9, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Prior to Mass, her granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson, played the flute.
Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Le Voici L’agneau si doux,” sung by Lillian Poirier, “Ave Maria” sung by Cindy Libby, and “J’irai la voir un jour.” Readings were done by her sons, Dennis MacDonald and Peter MacDonald. The eulogy was given by her daughters, Nancy Johnson and Jane Hoffman. Gift bearers were her granddaughters, Kari MacDonald and Sara Hoffman. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
