FARMINGTON – Elizabeth J. Bryant, 92, died April 9, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past two days, moving there from Orchard Park.

She was born in Waterville, June 3, 1916, the daughter of Solomon Tracy and Nellie Narissa (Wentworth) Stevens. She was educated in the schools of Farmington and a graduated from Farmington High School in 1934.

She married Maxwell C. Bryant May 1, 1937. She was a housewife most of her life and was affiliated with the Henderson Memorial Baptist Church of Farmington.

She loved to fish, do crafts, read, watch soap operas and throw horseshoes.

She is survived by a son, Malcolm F. Bryant and wife, Priscille, of Wilton; two daughters, Eileen S. Hanning and husband, Raymond, of Florida, and Elinor L. Knish and husband, Allen, of Ohio; two sisters, Winnie Libby of Farmington and Jennie Martin of Bangor; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and son-in-law, Lawrence Cook of Farmington.

She was predeceased by husband, Maxwell; a daughter, Joan Marie Cook; brother, Milburn Stevens; and sister, Eleanor Stevens.

The family would like to thank Orchard Park Rehab and Living Center for the extraordinary care they gave to Elizabeth and the family at our time of need.
