LEWISTON – Emilienne C. (Vaillancourt) Coulombe, 93, of 130 Rosedale St., Lewiston, died Sunday, April 12, at home with family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, April 14, 1915, the daughter of Napoleon and Anna (Laliberte) Vaillancourt, the youngest of 21 children.

Prior to her retirement, she was owner/operator of Emilienne’s Beauty Shop and later, Pink Poodle Beauty Nook. She was married to Phillippe E. Coulombe on May 4, 1946. He predeceased her Jan. 2, 2005.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church and choir as well as the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved music, family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Survivors include one son, Phil of Bath; daughters, Louise of Lewiston and JoAnne and husband, Al Murch, of Greene; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Rosa Jalbert of Portland; and many nieces and nephews.
