WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Joline H. Rancourt Bergeron, 71, passed away on April 9, in Winter Haven, Fla., after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on Dec. 8, 1937, in Lewiston, where she lived and worked most of her life as a skilled seamstress. She retired and resided in Florida for the past 20 years.

Known affectionately to family and friends, she was loved and respected by all who knew her. She had a profound sense of family and deeply loved her husband and children; many will miss her.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Julien Bergeron; her four children, John Bergeron, Jacqueline Bergeron, Julie Sawitzke and Jim Bergeron; one brother, Raymond Rancourt; two sisters, Christine Stambaugh and Diane Rodrigue; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
