ARUNDEL (AP) – A family of six in Arundel is homeless following an early-morning fire that left their home nearly gutted.

Everyone was able to get out of the home safely when the fire was reported shortly before 6 a.m. Friday. Firefighter Reynold Tardif told the Portland Press Herald that the cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but it appears that it started near the stovepipe of a wood stove.
