HEBRON – Authorities are continuing their investigation into the death of a Hebron man found lying outside his home early Saturday morning.

Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said Sunday that authorities were awaiting the results of an autopsy performed Sunday on the body of Gene Reynolds. The 43-year-old man’s body was found in the yard of his home at 15 Birch Way, which he shared with his live-in girlfriend, Diane Tracy, 42.

McCausland said three law enforcement agencies responded to the scene around 1 a.m. Saturday following a 911 call about a domestic dispute at the residence. In addition to the Maine State Police, a sheriff’s deputy from Oxford County and police officers from South Paris all responded to the scene.

McCausland declined to discuss the specific details of Tracy’s call to authorities.

He said a team of detectives collected evidence from the home and yard all day Saturday and Sunday that was sent to the Maine State Police Crime Lab in Augusta for analysis.

At this point, McCausland said Sunday, authorities plan to focus on additional interviews.
