WEBSTER, N.H. (AP) – Authorities believe alcohol was involved in a fishing accident in which one man drowned and two others were rescued in Webster, N.H.

The Marine Patrol said the three men from Warner were fishing in Lake Winnepocket Saturday afternoon when their canoe capsized.

Thirty-eight-year-old Ryan Baxter and 43-year-old Edward Flanders were rescued by witnesses. They were treated for severe hypothermia. A Webster Fire and Rescue diver later found the body of 46-year-old Wayne Durgin.

The Marine Patrol said the canoe carried lifejackets, but the men were not wearing them.
