LEWISTON – The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will offer a seminar, Human Resource Essentials, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at the chamber, 415 Lisbon St. Presenter is Deborah Whitworth.
Whitworth, managing director of human resources consulting with Lebel & Harriman, will take attendees through her human resources checklist to discover how their organizations rate, how to be proactive and learn the human resource essentials to comply with state and federal employment regulations.
Whitworth has more than 25 years of human resources management experience. Her first book, “You’re Hired, You’re Fired – A Manager’s Guide to Employee Supervision,” was published in 2004. She is a regular contributor of human resources related articles to several magazines and newspapers.
