PEABODY, Mass. – Glynn Nadeau, 79, passed quietly in his sleep on April 17, at his home, after a brief illness. He joins his loving wife, who passed before him in 2003.

While they had no children, he is remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews from his home state of Maine, close members from his dear wife’s family, as well as friends from his lifetime in Peabody.

He brought with him to Massachusetts what he considered the essence of people from Maine which was a desire to always “work hard,” “save your money” and “be smart.” He remembered fondly the annual trips around the Fourth of July to visit family in and around the Lewiston area and was at peace in the end knowing that he would soon be reunited with Ethel.
