AUBURN – Lorraine L. Pelletier, 70, of Eaton Street, Lewiston, died Sunday, April 19, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin.

She was born in Lewiston, on March 10, 1939, the daughter of the late Omer and Germaine (Couture) Roux.

She was married to Normand M. Pelletier, who died on June 5, 2006.

She was a member of Holy Family Church and the Sabattus Seniors. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, knitting and her favorite pet cat, “Mosey.”

She worked for almost 50 years at Knapp Shoe and prior to her retirement for Falcon Shoe.

She is survived by four sisters-in-law including, Joanne Renaud and her husband, Richard, Linda Cass and her husband, Richard, Pauline Larrivee and her companion, Louie Chapman, Rena Blanchette and her companion, Richard St. Amand, all of Lewiston; four godchildren, Jules Gagne, Cathy Poulin, Richard Blanchette and Daniel Bouyea; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and many good friends.

She was predeceased by a brother, the Rev. Father Gerard Roux.
