GRAY, Maine (AP) — The National Weather Service says the weather in Maine will feel more like July than April this weekend with sunny skies and temperatures rising into the 70s and 80s.

Forecasters are predicting that temperatures will be mostly in the 60s on Friday before rising into the 70s on Saturday and Sunday. The weather service says temperatures will reach into the 80s in parts of southwestern Maine.

The warm temperatures are expected to last into early next week.
