The Lewiston School Department has announced its kindergarten registration schedule for 2009-2010.

Parents should call their neighborhood school for an appointment. Those who are not sure which school their child will be attending should call the school department at 795-4100 or visit the Lewiston Public Schools Web site at www.lewiston.k12.me.us and search under Schools. Kindergarten students who will attend the new Raymond J. Geiger Elementary School should register at Pettingill Elementary School.

Parents should contact the school in order to receive forms required for registration. An immunization record and legal birth certificate, not the hospital record, is also required.



Registration dates are:

Pettingill: Monday, May 4, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Longley: Monday, May 4, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Farwell: Tuesday, May 5, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Martel: Thursday, May 7, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

McMahon: Thursday, May 7, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Montello: Friday, May 8, 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
