KEENE, N.H. (AP) – A 140-year-old church in Keene, N.H., is for sale for $550,000.
A dwindling congregation has forced Grace United Methodist Church to sell the building it has called home for more than a century. The congregation now holds its Sunday Services at an Odd Fellows Lodge and hopes to use the proceeds from the sale to build a smaller church.
The building features an exposed brick facade and towering steeple. Church officials told the Keene Sentinel they’d prefer to sell it to another church but they’re not turning other potential buyers away.
