Durham – Raymond Aime Tanguay, 80, of Lisbon, died suddenly Friday, April 24.

Born in Canada on Feb. 28, 1929, the son of Joseph “Donat” and Armendine (St. Pierre) Tanguay. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. On Oct. 2, 1954, he married the former Pauline D. Giguere who predeceased him on July 1, 2006. Ray was employed for 40 years for Hudson Bus Lines before his retirement. Ray was loved by everyone and always kept those around him smiling. He was an active camper and worked for Freeport KOA Campground. He was a member of VFW Post 9459, of Lisbon and Christian Vineyard Church of Lewiston. His friends and family will miss him greatly.

He is survived by one daughter, Rachel Trusselle of York; two granddaughters, Megan and Jessica Trusselle; and one sister, Giselle Griffis of Maryland.

Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother, Maurice Tanguay.
