On Friday April 17, the Sun Journal printed a letter that I wrote that they titled “Liberals Are Clueless.”
Let the record show that those were not my words, much less my opinion. I was appalled by the title and the Sun Journal has allowed me clarify it.
I was responding to a letter from Judson Duncan, pointing out that it is not necessary to call conservatives and talk show hosts names. I meant no disrespect to Mr. Duncan or anyone else.
My other point was that when some liberals call these shows, which the hosts welcome, they often start making accusations, and when taken to task, have nothing to back up what they are saying.
There was no mention of the word clueless or generalization of liberals. While I might disagree with what a person has to say, I respect their opinions when they are substantiated with facts.
