Our Town’ performance to benefit food banks
POLAND – The Sunday matinee performance of “Our Town” on Mother’s Day, May 10, at the Dr. Robert Wall Theatre, 1457 Maine St. Poland, will sponsor a food drive for the food banks in the area. Each person who brings a nonperishable food item to the box office will receive a dollar off the price of admission.
“Our Town” is a play commemorating the importance of community and the Poland Players would like to help replenish the shelves of the food banks as the economic needs increase.
The show starts at 2 p.m., and the ticket prices are $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. For those interested in attending another performance, the play will run May 7-9 at 7 p.m.
