MONMOUTH — Kerry and Sandra Burnell of North Yarmouth are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Heather Adams of Portland, to Shelby Turcotte of Portland, son of Robert and Cynthia Turcotte of Monmouth.
Miss Adams is a 2003 graduate of Greely High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of New England. She plans to graduate in 2010 from the University of New England with a doctoral degree in physical therapy.
Mr. Turcotte is a 2000 graduate of Monmouth Academy and a 2005 graduate of Thomas College. He graduated in 2007 from California University of Pennsylvania with a master’s degree in exercise science, strength and conditioning. He is coach and owner of Finer Points., L.L.C.
The wedding will be held on Aug. 22 at Falmouth Country Club.
