At Monmouth Middle School they have added a new sport this spring. We have never had this sport in our system until this year. This sport is Tennis, and it will be coached by Tyler Hunt (Coach Hunt). He is a teacher at the Monmouth Middle School, and also the head coach of the Winthrop High School boy’s basketball team.

We hope that tennis will encourage kids at the middle school to play a spring sport that doesn’t like to play softball, baseball or track. There was a good outcome of kids that have signed up to play, 24 players total. Good luck to all the kids that are going to try to play tennis.
