ELLSWORTH – Nonprofit and public organizations seeking funding for projects that draw on the strengths of the community and foster collaboration are encouraged to apply to the Maine Community Foundation’s County and Regional Program.

May 15 is the next deadline for applying for grants. Applicants will be notified in late July. Application, guidelines and a list of recent grants can be found at www.mainecf.org. Volunteer committees and MaineCF staff review the applications.

Organizations located in Androscoggin, Aroostook, Cumberland, Franklin, Hancock, Knox, Oxford, Piscataquis, Somerset, Waldo, Washington and York counties should apply for grants through the County and Regional Program. Nonprofits located in other counties should apply through the statewide Community-Building Grant program.
