Jonah Goldberg’s column May 2 claims that Barack Obama’s arrogance will be his undoing. Has Goldberg forgotten the cowboy mentality of George W. Bush and his administration? Dick (“So what”) Cheney could be the poster child of arrogance.
When you throw in the myopic extremism of Karl Rove, Tom DeLay, Donald Rumsfeld, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, you will find the arrogance that is pushing the right-wing fanatics of the Republican Party into extinction.
When the GOP’s elephant finally kicks the bucket, there won’t be enough Republicans left to dig a hole to bury it.
Someone should offer Jonah Goldberg a shovel.
