WOLFEBORO, N.H. (AP) – The New Hampshire attorney general’s office is investigating the apparent homicide of a woman in Wolfeboro.

Investigators said the body of 41-year-old Stacey A. Burns was found after officers searched inside her home shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday. Wolfeboro police had gone to the address on North Main Street after receiving a 911 call. The attorney general’s office said in a news release that the call came from a resident of the home, but did not specify whether Burns or someone else had placed the call.

An autopsy is planned for Monday to determine the cause and manner of death.
