WLU meeting

AUBURN – The Woman’s Literary Union will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the clubhouse, 19 Elm St. The program will be “100 Hats 1860 to 1960,” presented by Lynn McKenzie.

Hospitality will be provided by Sylvia Plossay and Shirley Small. House decorations will be provided by Mary Ann Norcross and Jackie O’Donnell. Refreshments will be served and guests are welcome.

Bridge play

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on May 11 were as follows: first, Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry; second, Les Buzzell and Paul Sherman; third/first in B/C: Della Starbird and Eileen Potvin; fourth/fifth tie: Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos with Dick Allen and Richard Balian; second in B/C: Cynthia and Bill Clifford; third in B: Nancy Farmer and Errol Libby.
