NORWAY – Daryl F. St. John, 73, of Norway died Monday, May 11, at Stephens Memorial Hospital with his loving family at his side.

He was the youngest child of John L. and Lottie (Powers) St. John.

He attended Harrison and Bridgton schools and earned his G.E.D. from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

He married the former Mary Lou McDonald on May 20, 1960.

He had worked in the Norway area most of his adult life, retiring from C.B. Cummings in 1999.

He was an avid fisherman and golfer and was a member of the Norway Country Club for more than 40 years. It was his second home.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Lou; four children, sons, Michael, Terry L. and Barb Kozak, and Darren and wife, Libra; a daughter, Darcy Sipe; a sister, Josephine Powers of Mesa, Ariz.; grandchildren, Terry J., Michael, Eric, Spencer, Leah, Kyle, Nicholas and Samantha; and many nieces and nephews, including Jim St. John and wife, Doneta.

He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Barbara Tyler; and brothers, George, Charles (Burton), Edward (Tommy) and John L. Jr.
