FORT KENT – The University of Maine at Fort Kent will offer a French Discovery Camp this summer for students entering their sophomore, junior or senior years of high school. The camp will run from Monday, June 29, through Thursday, July 2.

Activities will include learning French, touring the cultural sites in the St. John Valley, preparing authentic French and Acadian dishes, music, films and other cultural activities and meeting with people who use French in their work settings. Other activities will include canoeing, a barbecue, games, field trips and nature walks.

Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The camp is limited to 12 students.
