Library trustees seek plant donations for sale

LIVERMORE FALLS – Treat Memorial Library trustees are planning a perennial plant sale to be held during History Night. Plants will be available for purchase from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the Androscoggin Bank building. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the library.

Plant donations are being requested. In addition to perennial flowers, trustees would welcome shrubs, bushes, groundcovers and annual flower and vegetable seedlings.

Those donating are asked to be sure the plants are healthy and disease- and bug-free. Labels with as much information as known are requested.

Plants can be dropped off at the library Monday to Friday, May 18 to 22, during working hours.

For more information, call the library at 897-3631 or Lynn Knight at 897-2489.
