LISBON – No injuries were reported after two vehicles crashed at the Midtown Plaza entrance on Route 196 Tuesday morning.

Detective Bill Tapley identified the drivers as Chester Moody, 79, and Elizabeth Coughlin, 33, both of Lisbon.

He said Coughlin was waiting to leave the Midtown Plaza and was waved out by another motorist, who apparently did not see Moody driving in the passing lane. Neither driver was injured.

Moody’s 2001 Ford Ranger was demolished and damage to Coughlin’s 1997 Pontiac minivan was estimated at $3,000 in the 9:32 a.m. crash.
