The Auburn Middle School drama club will present “Sunday Night,” a new play by Stephen Gregg with appeal to both adults and children courtesy of its clever writing, fantastical characters and intricate plot. In this contemporary fantasy, a teenage girl, Whit, finds herself swept into another world where time is illusive and the diseases she catches appear as wild characters that block her path. She has to outsmart them to continue her journey back to our world. She embarks on an inner journey as well, learning to forgive and accept herself as well as share love with others. Performances are at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, May 14-16, and at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Auburn Middle School Theater. Tickets are $5 at the door. For more information, call director Liz Rollins at 784-1356. Cast members, from left, are Katie Naum, Paige Weber, Michael Cote, Liz Bouchard, Kellie Hackett and Carrie Close.
