LEWISTON – The Lewiston Police Department responded to 693 calls for service from 7 a.m. May 8 to 7 a.m. May 15.

Criminal mischief
A vehicle parked at 72 Spring St. had its tires slashed overnight May 13-14.
A vehicle parked at 171 Central Ave. had a rear window broken by a pellet gun overnight May 12-13.
A mailbox at 730 College St. was smashed at 1:35 p.m. on May 11. The suspect vehicle was a green GMC Envoy, Maine registration plate 6690PS.
Two juveniles were summoned for criminal mischief at 11:30 a.m. on May 9 after they were caught tagging the Marston Street side of the Martel school with “MOCK” and “BGG.” They were later linked with tagging incidents reported at Promenade Mall at 855 Lisbon St., Sears at 20 East Ave., and Marcotte Park at 161 Birch St.
A vehicle parked at 2 Cedar St. had a windshield and passenger side window broken by a rock overnight May 10-11.
Thefts
A 15-speed Flurry mountain bike and a BMX with trick pegs were stolen from the rear of 32 Cottage St. prior to 12:30 on May 10.
An air conditioner was stolen from the common storage area of an apartment building at 713 Main St. sometime before May 14.
A blue Trek mountain bike was stolen from Tall Pines Drive since May 1.
An UPS delivery was stolen from 214 Sabattus St. before 3 p.m. May 7.
An iPod was stolen from 12-4 Pleasant View Acres before 1 p.m. May 7.
A tire was stolen from a bicycle from a porch at 86 Walnut St. after 7:30 p.m. May 13.
A gray and orange baby stroller with a diaper bag in it was stolen from 64 Oxford St. before 7 p.m. May 13.
A red, blue, and silver Huffy children’s bicycle was stolen from outside the Lewiston Public Library between 4 and 5 p.m. May 13.
Burglaries
An apartment at 133 Spring St. was burglarized between 9 and 10 p.m. May 9. The door was left unlocked, a Compaq laptop computer was taken.
A trailer at 25 Sarah Ave. was burglarized between 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. May 8. An entry door was pried to gain entry. An Xbox, Nintendo DS, and prescription pills were taken.
An apartment at 16 Hillside Lane was burglarized before 5 p.m. May 11. Cash and prescription meds were taken.
An apartment at 141 Bartlett St. had damage done to the entry door in an apparent attempted burglary before 7 p.m. May 13.
Arrests
Derek Pleau, 24, and John Samson, 22, were charged with burglary at 8 p.m. May 7 after a person interrupted a burglary in progress at Berube’s Auto at 147 East Ave. Officers arrived on scene to obtain the descriptions of two white males who had fled on foot. A check of the area revealed Derek Pleau who matched the description of one of the suspects. Samson was identified following the course of the investigation.
Samuel Warner, 19, was charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and criminal mischief at 5:54 p.m. May 12. Officers responded to the intersection of Oak Street and Nomar Court for a report that a resident had their windshield and driver’s side window shot out by a pellet gun. Warner and the BB gun were located on the fourth floor of 129 Oak St., where he had fired out the window.
George Higgins, 42, was charged with theft May 8. The property owner of 1040 Main St. had reported the theft of $4,000 worth of shingles during five separate incidents between April 12 and May 6. He eventually placed cameras on the property, resulting in the arrest.
OUI arrests
Eric Armstrong, 21, was charged with operating under the influence at 1:21 a.m. May 13 at College Street and Mountain Avenue.
Cynthia Bachelder, 22, was charged with operating under the influence at 12:56 a.m. May 14 at Turner and Hampshire streets.
Jacqueline Lemieux, 25, was charged with operating under the influence and operating while license suspended at 2:08 a.m. May 9 at Sabattus and College streets.
OAS arrests
Clifford Conway, 36, was charged with operating after suspension at 11:28 May 8 at 29 Davis St.
Levi Bolton, 19, was charged with operating while license suspended at 10:30 a.m. May 8 at O’Connell and Pleasant streets.
Wanted
David Surette, 44, is wanted on a warrant charging arson, threatening and terrorizing.
Jennifer Gould, 22, is wanted on a warrant for unpaid fines for disorderly conduct.
Justin McLaughlin, 19, is wanted on a warrant for unpaid fines for operating after suspension.
