This letter is to honor the veterans of this great country. To honor the veterans of all the wars this nation has fought.
To honor the lives given to safeguard the peace of the world.
To honor the ones who were prisoners of the wars.
To honor the ones who were wounded, and to honor the ones who had no visible wounds except in their minds that don’t go away.
To honor the ones who never came back home.
To honor the ones who will never be the same again as when they went to war.
I encourage the public to give honor to those veterans who are still here. Go to the Veterans Memorial Park on Memorial Day. Stand up and be counted. Give honor to those who deserve it — to the veterans.
