AUBURN – Hilda Johnson, 92, loving wife of Lawrence Johnson, died Sunday, May 17, at the Odd Fellows Rebekahs Lodge living facility.
She grew up in Lubec and Whiting, where she married Lawrence Johnson from Machias and eventually moved to Auburn. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who lived most of ther life helping with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved animals and cooking wonderful meals for the holidays and a great boiled dinner.
She is survived by her son, Dan Johnson and Margaret Tripp of Auburn; daughters, Marjorie Elliot-Hess of Scarborough and Elaine Kane of Williamsburg, Va.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren she truly loved. She will be greatly missed by all.
