LEWISTON – South Lewiston Little League hosted a Pitch, Hit & Run competition for area youth May 9. The following players won first place honors in their respective age groups:

Age 7/8: Pitch and Overall Champion, Cole Pringle; Hit Champion, Brent Fortin; Run Champion, Lexi Poulin.

Age 9/10: Pitch Champion, Sam Blaisdell and Shalei Grady; Hit Champion, Isaiah Fraser; Run and Overall Champion, Eliza Beaudin.

Age 11/12: Pitch and Overall Champion, Nate Albert; Hit Champions, Nate Albert and Devon Iler; Run Champion, Cameron Deschaine.

Age 13/14: Pitch Champions, Eddie Emerson and Matt Bouchard; Hit and Overall Champion, Eddie Emerson; Run Champion, Matt Bouchard.

The winners will compete in the Sectional competition in Bangor. Sectional All-Around Champions become eligible to qualify for the Team Championship, to be held at Fenway Park.
