LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman on Saturday night in Livermore Falls, Lt. Thomas Gould said Tuesday.

Somebody made a forced entry into the residence and sexually assaulted the woman, he said.

It was reported about 9:30 p.m.

The woman was taken to a hospital and treated and released, he said.

Police are working on a composite of the suspect, Gould said.

Gould and officer Joe Sage have been investigating the case since it was reported, he said.

“We do have a lead right now,” Gould said.
