STRATTON – The Stratton-Eustis Wayfarers Club of Maine is sponsoring a public bean supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Community Building.

Members will serve homemade baked beans, ham, casseroles, hot dogs, coleslaw, rolls and homemade pies. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10.

Fred Townsend, president of the Wayfarers, invites everyone in the community to “come join the fun to socialize with your friends and neighbors or if you’re just in town for a short stay, come find out what a great homemade New England dinner tastes like.”

The Wayfarers Club is a nonprofit service organization affiliated with Mt. Bigelow Masonic Lodge 202 and Somerset Chapter 80, Order of the Eastern Star, and meets at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the Stratton Masonic Lodge located across from the elementary school on School Street.
