LEWISTON – Marlene Anita McCrillis, 53, of Bartlett Street, Lewiston, passed away peacefully with the love and support of her family on May 20.

She was born in Lewiston, on April 9, 1956, the daughter of Ellsworth A. Burnham and Irene A. (Wing) Burnham.

During her short life, she has worked at Franklin Shoe and Acorn Shoe. She also volunteered at the Good Shepherd Food-Bank when it was in Lewiston. She loved her many pets, she’s had dogs, cats, birds and fish. She also enjoyed crocheting various items to give to her family and friends.

She leaves behind her only son, Mark A. McCrillis and his wife, April L. Collins-McCrillis, and their children, Haley C. Collins and Mark A. McCrillis Jr., all of Farmington. She enjoyed spending time with her family. her sister-in-law, Jean Burnham of Livermore; nephews, Michael Burnham of Livermore and Scott Burnham and his wife, Becky, of Leeds; and nieces, Jenny Smith and her husband, Mike and Tammy Jordan of Livermore.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her only brother, Larry Burnham.

She has been sick for quite a few years and we would like to thank her many doctors, CMMC nurses, her social workers and family and friends who have supported her during her struggle.
