Many complaints have been made in Auburn lately over bicyclists who ride on the sidewalks. Several children have been knocked down and several older persons run into or badly startled. Accordingly, City Marshal Rowe has given strict orders to the police force to arrest all violators and, as a result, two young men were taken to the lock-up last evening and will be arraigned before the court this morning. The city marshal intends to strictly enforce the city ordinances in this matter and will have men in plain clothes to be on the watch.
