WEST PARIS – Margaret Isabelle Walker, 94, of West Paris, died at the Ledgeview Living Center on Thursday, May 21.

She was born in Litchfield, on Jan. 2, 1915, the daughter of James L. and Flora E. (Ricker) Tibbetts and was educated in Monmouth schools. She had resided at Ledgeview Living Center for several years.

She was a wife, mother, homemaker and had worked at Norway Shoe Shops and B & M Canning Co. as well as Hanover Dowel in Bethel. She lived in South Bethel most of her life and lived in Norway for a number of years before moving to Ledgeview. She enjoyed playing beano or bingo and playing Skip Bo with her family. She loved flowers, especially roses and dahlias; her family was her life, which were many.

She is survived by four daughters, Phyllis Farrington and her husband, Kenneth, of Oxford, Gertrude Hinkley of Woodstock, Gail Mason and her husband, Stewart, of South Paris and Terri Skinner of South Paris; seven sons, Stanley Walker, Douglas Walker and his wife, Jane, Thomas Walker, Steven Walker and his wife, Shirley, all of Bethel, Harold Walker and his wife, Bertha, of Bryant Pond, Raymond Walker and his wife Joyce, of South Paris and David Walker and his wife, Rose, of Oxford; and more than 200 grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Walker Sr.; two sons, Roland and Gerald Jr.; three daughters, Barbara Jean Walker, Sharon Sprague and Geraldine Phelps; three sons-in-law, Nelson Sr., Robert Sr. and Leroy; one daughter-in-law, Doris; two grandsons, Roland Jr. and Bruce; one great-grandson, Keith; four sisters, Thelma Kellogg, Lola Curtis, Bernice Mason and Olive Blowers; and two brothers, Steve Tibbetts and Nathan Tibbetts.
