LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Prince of Peace Parish for Rita Marie Dionne Cote on Friday at Holy Cross Church after prayers at The Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Daniels officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. The placing of the pall was done by Bernadette Cyr, Theressa Kerr, Rachel Kidder and and Rita’s husband Normand, who also placed her special Bible on the pall. Readings were done by Estelle Bouchard and Rachel Kidder. Diane Erb said prayers of the faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Rita’s godchildren, Joline Caron and Lisa Shorette. Pallbearers were Pete Bouchard, Gerry Deraps, Mark Deraps, Jason Fecteau, David Kidder and Paul Roy. Online guestbook may be viewed at www.mem.com.
