LEWISTON – Lewiston Medical Associates announces the newest addition to its internal medicine practice, Dr. Lawrence Baker.

Baker has an extensive background in cardiology, working at a practice for 23 years. He earned his doctorate of medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his internship at Boston City Hospital in Boston. He completed a research fellowship in medicine (cardiology) at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, cardiology research fellowship at Tufts Circulation Laboratory at Boston City Hospital, and straight medical residency at Tufts Medical Service, Boston City Hospital.

He has served as chief of clinical medicine and chief of cardiology and director of CCU at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, Mass.

Dr. Baker is board certified by the Subspecialty Board in Cardiovascular Diseases and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Lewiston Medical Associates is a Community Clinical Services practice, which is part of the St. Mary’s Health System.
