AUBURN – Pepsi recorded two victories last week in Auburn Suburban Little League Major Division baseball, defeating Hardy,Wolf and Downing and Auburn Firefighters.
In the triumph over HWD, Pepsi banged out 16 hits, led by Ian Mileikis with four and Zach Abisalih with three. Mileikis pitched four strong innings for the win. Jack Coyne and Kyle Romero had hits for HWD. Daveon Brooks highlighted Pepsi’s defense, while Jacob Dubuc shined for HWD.
Against Firefighters, Pepsi received a combined one-hitter from C.J. Jipson, Bo Norcross and Jon Tuttle. Jipson helped his own cause with a home run while Jarod Norcross-Plourde chipped in a pair of hits. Noah Moreshead pitched well in relief for the Firefighters. Defensive standouts were Donovan Covert for Pepsi and Noah Perron for AFF.
ASLL Minor Baseball
American Concrete edged Dillingham and Son, 9-6, in ASLL Minors. Austin Aube led the offense for American Concrete with five hits, while Austin Brown, Ethan Brown, Cameron Coolong and Alic Shorey all pitched in with three hits apiece. Dillingham and Son played great defense led by Giles Paradie, Ian Brushwein and Mason Brushwein.
