LEWISTON – Therese Berube, 84, formerly of Oak Park, died Monday, May 25, at d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born in Lewiston on March 18, 1925, the daughter of Arsene and Valeda (Pelletier) Lussier.
She was the widow of Alfred Berube, whom she married on July 3, 1947, and who died on June 26, 2008.
She was a member of Holy Cross Church and a member of St. Ann Sodality at Holy Cross Church.
She enjoyed bingo, playing cards and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Flagg of Lewiston, Marguerite Edwards and her husband, Michael, of Wisconsin, and Denise Cloutier and her husband, Raymond, of Lewiston; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Connie Boilard and her husband, Reggie, of Greene and Lorraine Tancrede of Lewiston; and her sisters-in law, Claudette Lussier and Rose Lussier, both of Lewiston, and Agathe Sutton of Auburn.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Herve, Bertrand, Raymond and Raynald Lussier; and her sister, Rachel Lussier.
