FARMINGTON – Police are investigating a break-in at an indoor-horse-riding arena at the Knowlton Corner Farm reported Sunday.
The family farm, located on Knowlton Corner Road, boards horses and has a tack shop.
A person who boards a horse there went to ride the horse in the indoor arena and discovered the damage, Farmington Police secretary Rachel Heseltine said, according to officer Bridgette Dellarma’s report.
Mirrors were pulled off walls and shattered, a bench was overturned, some windows were broken and a lock was broken to gain entry to the arena, Heseltine said.
The place was kind of ransacked, she said.
The case has been turned over to Detective Marc Bowering for further in investigation.
