AUBURN – Raymond J. Fortier, 69, of Auburn, died unexpectedly Monday, May 25, at his home. He was born in Ludlow on Dec. 16, 1939, the son of James and Viola (Jameson) Fortier.

Survivors include his companion, Shirley Poliquin of Auburn; three sons, Charles, Michael and wife, Mary, and Brian and wife, Leila; one brother, Charles; two sisters, Muriel Powers and Jeannie Merritt; and three grandchildren.
