AUBURN – Interstate Batteries scored nine runs in the fourth inning of a 16-1 Auburn rec softball victory over Dream Team. Kris Gilhooly walloped two home runs and Shon Collins added another round-tripper in the winning assault. Josh Bourque and Bob Field provided stellar defense in the middle infield for Battery (2-1). Dan Smith scored the mound victory. Brian Farrington smacked a pair of hits for the Dreamers (1-2)

In a close contest played at Lakeview No. 2 Tuesday night, Hartt Transportation trimmed Meineke Car Care, 8-7.
