Country association plans Sunday music show
JEFFERSON – The Maine Academy of Country Music will put on a country music show Sunday, June 14, to celebrate the life of late MACM secretary/treasurer David Melancon Sr., at Broken Acres.
Among those scheduled to perform from noon to 6 p.m. are Bob Elston and the Roadrangers (house band), the Maine Connection with Jared Alley; Slim Andrews; Fred Couverette; Bill Giasson; Jeff Clark; Lil’ Butch Howard,; Fred Tommy Thompson; The Side Kick Gene Kilpatrick; and Walter Weymouth.
Admission is by donation. The snack shack will be open. Broken Acres is on Valley Road. For more information, call Doreen Crocker at 377-3597.
