AUBURN – Bertha Corriveau, 87, of Howe St., Lewiston died Saturday, May 30, at the Androscoggin Hospice House, after a long battle with colon and bone cancer. Her daughter, Rita, and her friend, Carol Preo, were by her side and a very special thank you to Gerry Breton for his support.

She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 2, 1921, the daughter of Henry and Georgiana (Labarre) Ravenelle.

She was the widow of Emile Corriveau whom she married on June 2, 1942, and who died on Feb. 16, 2003.

She enjoyed flower gardening, watching wrestling and soap operas.

She is survived by her daughter, Rita Corriveau of Lewiston; and by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert Corriveau; and her sisters, Marguerite Couture and Violet Fowler.

Her daughter would like to thank Dr. Traynor and the caring nurses and staff at the Oncology Dept. at CMMC and also Dr. Austin at the Androscoggin Home Health and Hospice House.
