SOUTH PARIS – Andrew Keniston belted a walk-off double in the ninth inning to lift Oxford Hills to a 6-5 victory over Hampden in baseball action Tuesday.

Hampden jumped out to a 3-1 advantage in the first frame. The Vikings (10-6) scored twice in the sixth inning to pull into contention.

Cody Hadley knocked in the tying run for Oxford Hills in the ninth. Hadley and Keniston finished with two hits on the day.

Cody Miller and Bill Kirk led Hampden (5-11) with two hits and one RBI apiece.

Leavitt 4, Nokomis 3

TURNER – Buck Bochtler scored the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth as Leavitt outlasted Nokomis, 4-3, in KVAC baseball action Tuesday.

Bochtler’s double was the Hornets’ second hit on the day, but it was enough. He stole third then scored when Nokomis pitcher Justin Amoroso uncorked the wild pitch.

Amoroso went all nine innings for Nokomis (0-16), yielding just the two hits. Elijah Miller had the other hit, a double, for the Hornets (3-13).

Kolin Gauthier and Kolby Youland combined for six innings of scoreless relief for Leavitt, with Youland earning the win.

St. Dom’s 14, Waynflete 3

AUBURN – Casey Parker belted out three hits and drove in three runs as St. Dom’s rolled over Waynflete 14-3 in a late-season baseball tilt Tuesday afternoon.

Alex Parker, Joe Bryant and Carl Hargeaves combined for six hits and two RBIs, while Greg LaBonte drove in three runs on the day.

The powerhouse Saints (14-1) led 5-3 after three innings before pulling away for good in the fourth. Richard Paradis scattered three hits in six innings to record the win.

Lincoln Academy 14, Oak Hill 4

WALES – Ben McLean scattered four hits in six innings and drew ample run support as Lincoln Academy hustled to a 14-4 victory over Oak Hill in a baseball game.

McLean helped his own cause at the plate with an RBI double, while Dalton Leeman led the team with two hits and two RBIs. The Raiders (8-8) weren’t idle at the plate Tuesday, as Ben Rines and Brett Turcotte belted doubles. Sean Grenier started out on the mound and suffered the loss.

Winthrop 16, Monmouth 8

MONMOUTH – The Winthrop baseball squad exploded for 10 runs in the first inning and went on to record a 16-8 victory over Monmouth in MVC baseball action Tuesday.

David Ketchem led the Ramblers (11-3) with two hits in the contest.

Monmouth scored four runs in the first frame but never got close to Winthrop.

The Mustangs (3-10-1) were paced by Eric Smith with four hits and two RBIs, while Easton Morang also contributed by driving in two runs.

Skowhegan 7, Lewiston 5

LEWISTON – Lewiston had the tying run at the plate in the seventh inning, but Skowhegan reliever Nick Billington got the out, as the Indians beat the Blue Devils, 7-5, in a baseball game Tuesday. Skowhegan (10-6) took apart Lewiston’s 2-0 lead in the fourth inning with a six-run outburst in the fourth.

For the Blue Devils (6-10), Alex Wong doubled and Ben Wigant tripled. The Indians’ Mike Soucier and winning pitcher Cody Vigue each had two hits.

Lisbon 3, Telstar 2

LISBON – Alex Hall belted an RBI triple in the seventh inning to lift Lisbon to a 3-2 victory over Telstar.

Nick Jones smacked a double in the sixth for Lisbon to tie the game.

Tyler Brown finished with four hits for the Greyhounds (9-5), while Mat Hardison and Frank Angelico combined for two hits and two RBIs.

Marcus Bubar struck out nine batters in six innings of work and earned the win.

The Rebels (5-9) were led by Dan Whitney with two hits, including a two-run double in the third inning. T.J. O’Connor went 2-for-3 at the plate for Telstar.

Dirigo 7, Boothbay 1

BOOTHBAY – Winning pitcher Eric Bolduc threw a three-hitter, struck out 12 batters and walked only one in his first varsity start, steering Dirigo to a 7-1 victory over Boothbay in a baseball game Tuesday.

The junior pitcher also had an RBI single to help his cause.

Arik Fenstermacher led Dirigo’s offense, supplying a double and a two-run homer in the seventh inning.

The Cougars (11-14) were trailing by a run, but they erupted with five runs in the sixth inning to take a 5-1 lead. Fenstermacher’s two-run shot put Dirigo well ahead of Boothbay (1-13).

Dirigo hammered out eight hits.Dave Guildford and Ryan Lafleur each had RBI singles.

Boy’s lacrosse

Mountain Valley 6, Camden Hills 3

CAMDEN – Kenny Armstrong netted four goals Tuesday to propel Mountain Valley to a 6-3 victory over Camden Hills in a late-season boy’s lacrosse matchup.

Matt Mowatt and Austin Horne also tallied for the Falcons (2-10) to complete the scoring. Mountain Valley jumped out to a 4-1 advantage in the first frame and was never challenged.

Ryan Rajanieni made 16 saves in net for the Falcons to notch the win.

Will Rolston, Kyle Koskmen and Nick Linscott all tallied for winless Camden Hills (0-12), while Evan Bianchi turned aside 21 shots between the posts.
