NORWAY – Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met May 29 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street, when a six-table Howell movement was played.

Finishing first in Flight A were Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; second, Nancy Farmer and Marta Clements; third, Georgette Jewell and Pat Quinn. Finishing first in Flight B were Dennise Whitley and Barry Allen, who also were first in Flight C. Second in Flight B were Richard Balian and Woody Mercier; third, Marilyn and Richard Canton; second, Flight C, Cindy and Bob Kirchherr; third, Bev Pelletier and Jim Dickens.

Class to meet

RUMFORD – The Stephens High School Class of 1955 will meet at the Route 2 Diner at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11, for luncheon.

Looking for flags

RUMFORD – Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 is planning a flag retirement service for September.

Anyone having worn flags that they would like to get rid of should contact Americanism Chairwoman Debi Briggs at 364-2479 or Exalted Ruler Sandee Welch at 364-2548 or drop them off at the lodge on 60 River St.
