WILTON – Voters head to the polls Tuesday to choose a selectman and school board member, Town Clerk Lynn Jellison said.

State Rep. Tom Saviello and professor Michael Burke are vying for a seat on the Board of Selectmen.

School board member Angie LeClair seeks to retain her seat on the board. She is running unopposed.

In Fayette, voters will also head to the polls Tuesday to vote for a selectman and school board position.

David Pollock is the only person seeking the selectman’s position while no one is running for the school board position left by Karen Rogers. Town officials anticipate some write-in votes. Selectman Diane Polky chose not to run again for a seat on the board.

Readfield voters also elect officers Tuesday for two selectmen and confirmation of the new school budget. Four candidates are running for two seats, including incumbent Henry Clauson who is opposed by Greg Durgin, Anita Buss and Amanda Mank.

Both Sandy River Plantation and Dallas Plantation will hold public hearings on school consolidation during their town meetings. A referendum on the consolidation will take place on June 29 in both plantations.
