MEXICO – The following incidents were handled recently by the Mexico Police Department.
Theft
A Main Street resident reported at 7:30 p.m. June 7 that someone had taken two fishing poles valued at $95 from the rear porch.
Lost items
A woman reported the loss of $440 cash, a Social Security check and account information at 8:30 p.m. June 3 in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Police are reviewing the surveillance tape. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 364-5686.
A Bangor Savings Bank debit card was reported lost somewhere at the rear of the Mexico Town Office on June 2. On June 3, someone turned it in to the Police Department.
Vandalism
A report of slashed tires came in at 10:45 a.m. June 8 from a motor home owner, who said it was parked in the mud run section of Coulthard’s on River Road. Damage was estimated at $400.
A Kimball Avenue resident reported at 7:30 a.m. June 6 that someone had destroyed the exterior rear view mirror on her car when it was parked on the street. Damage was estimated at $400.
