PORTLAND – Edna H. Howard, 60, a resident of Fayette, died Tuesday, June 9, at Maine Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born in Worcester, Mass., on Feb. 9, 1949, the daughter of Carl and Helen Knight Eisenhart and attended the local schools. She was a graduate of Worcester High School in 1966. She worked at Chicken Delight and Lincoln Nursing Home, both in Worcester, Mass., and also at Lucarelli’s Deli in Livermore Falls.

She was a member of the VFW, Post 3335 Auxiliary of Jay and the American Legion, George Bunten, Unit 10 of Livermore Falls. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was an avid sponsor for the Jerry Lewis’ Kids Foundation.

She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting, cooking, planting her flowers and vegetable gardens, crossword puzzles and playing Yahtzee.

She is survived by four daughters, Bambie Lynn Elliott of Vienna, Yvonne Hebert and her husband, Mike, of Jay, Tina Weaver and her husband, Steve, of Fayette and Michelle Crosby and her husband, Mike, of East Livermore; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents.
